Have a great BBQ dinner with family and friends! Dickey's BBQ Pit will give us 5% of the proceeds all day. Don't forget to bring the flyer.
PACK 48 SCOUTS NEED YOUR HELP!
Pack 48's annual fundraiser is in full swing!  Our scouts are busy doing their best to raise funds to pay for all of the activities that they have planned for the year.  Won't you help them reach their goal?  It's easy to help, just click here to see our products and delicious popcorn.  Once you've made your selection please send us an e-mail at hamiltonpack48@gmail.com with the item letter, quantity, and your name and contact information.  We will be in touch to arrange for payment and free delivery.  Order by October 25.
RED RIBBON WEEK
October 20-24

Red Ribbon Week is the nation's oldest and largest drug prevention program. We focus on healthy activities and food. This year we have an exciting week planned for Hamilton students!  

This year's theme: Colors of the Rainbow
 
Monday: Kick-Off! Wear red all week! Bring your favorite red snack
Tuesday: Bring your favorite yellow or orange snack
Wednesday: Bring a green snack. Special assembly!
Thursday: Bring a blue or purple snack! Dodgeball!
Friday: Jog-A-Thon! Wear your sneakers and "Don’t Let Drugs Sneak Up On You"
 

PUMPKIN GRAMS
Pumpkin Grams will be sold the Monday through Friday 10/27-10/31. They can be purchased for students and staff by fellow students or even parents. A sweet token to that special Bobcat in your life. They are $2 ea and will be sold in the morning BEFORE school from 8:00 am - 8:40 am and will be delivered during the day. These are cute mini pumpkins and all proceeds go to help support the 5th grade Pali Science Camp.
 

ATTENTION ARTISANS, CRAFTERS, BAKERS AND SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS
SAVE THE DATE for our 1st Winter Gift Boutique
December 5th
 2014 from 4-7p.m.

If you make or sell gift type items such as jewelry, candles, gift baskets, accessories, toys, food items, and more, we invite you to participate in this new PTA fundraiser. This is open to friends, families, community members, and anyone who would like to sell items at our gift boutique. 

Interested? Email Erin@csmla.com with your name and a short explanation of the items you would like to sell. We are also looking for donations for our raffle if you or your business would like to donate a product or service contact the email above.

PTA REFLECTIONS PROGRAM
This year's theme: "The World Would Be A Better Place If... "  
Deadline: Monday, November 3


PTA Reflections is a national arts recognition and achievement program where students artwork is judged by the local PTA. If selected, the student wins $100 and the artwork goes on to district and state levels to be considered for an Award of Excellence and an Award of Merit. Have your child unleash their creativity by participating. Students must create a project reflecting this year's theme in one of the following areas: Dance Choreography, Music Composition, Film Production, Photography, Literature, and Visual Arts. HALLOWEEN PARADE
Friday, Oct. 31
9:00 a.m.
  • Children arrive to school in their costumes. Parade will be held in the morning this year. After the parade, children will go back to class for normal instruction. Please send paper bag with your child to place any part of their costume which may get lost or be a distraction. 
  • Costumes MUST be appropriate for school. Any inappropriate or scary masks, costumes with weapons, blood, etc. will not be allowed.
  • NO chairs will be provided but you may bring folding chairs to view the parade.
  • All classes will be outside viewing the parade.  Each grade level will be called up to walk the parade route two times. 
  • Parade will be canceled if it rains.
